As a little girl I remember spending hours playing in my mothers jewelry box. My dad traveled internationally so it wouldn't be strange to find beautiful sapphire sets from South Africa or black Tahitian pearls necklaces that he brought from the South of Asia. Some of my favorites were the delicately hand painted orchard brooches in 18k gold.
But it wasn't until college that the bling bug really bit! I have since spent over 13 years in the jewelry industry working with clients from the Washington Wizards, government officials, local executives, corporate Vice Presidents and many more with their engagement ring designs, wedding band coordination and just "gotta have it" pieces.
